Advanced Eyecare was founded by Dr. Robert Palozej in 1983 with a mission to provide exceptional vision care to the Ellington community. His son, Dr. Matthew Palozej, joined the practice in 2017, bringing a shared passion for innovation, precision, and personalized care. In 2025, Dr. Matthew Palozej proudly assumed ownership of Advanced Eyecare, carrying forward his father’s legacy of advanced eyecare and eyewear for the entire family.

For over four decades, Advanced Eyecare has been dedicated to enhancing vision and enriching lives through comprehensive routine and medical eye care, along with a full-service optical boutique featuring the latest eyewear styles and lens technologies.

Committed to excellence and community, the practice proudly partners with local businesses—such as Encore Optics in South Windsor—to provide quality products we trust while supporting our local economy. At Advanced Eyecare, your vision is our focus, and we look forward to helping you see the world more clearly for years to come.
